I would like to invite you, families you work with, your colleagues or any other interested parties to our Open Day on Thursday 7 June 2018 from 11am – 2.00 pm.

The Archer is a unique training environment for learners wishing to acquire skills and knowledge necessary for a career within the Hospitality & Catering trade. Learners can undertake real work and be supported to develop skills in line with their goals and qualifications. The Archer trades to the public seven days a week and as learners become more independent, they can experience typical shift patterns giving them a full insight of the bar and restaurant trade.
You will be able to have a tour of our facilities, speak to our staff teams and maybe sample some of our produce.
Also, attached is a copy of our latest prospectus with additional information regarding two further pathways which have been formalised at Landmarks, which offers an alternative way of learner for our learners:-
- Community Based Learning – which is designed for young people who struggle with traditional class based education and require support/tuition to be in surroundings which are familiar to them – this could be within the learners home or their local community.
- Work Based Learning – which is suited for learners who are at the stage in their life where they are ready for work and need support to transition into the world of work, but do not wish to access a college or classroom environment. This pathway is designed for learners to access Work Based Learning at an employers premises for 3 days per work, supported by our Job Coaches.
