Attendance 2016 – 2017
We work hard at Derrymount to improve pupil attendance. Many of our youngsters have very good attendance, however some come to us with a long history of school refusal and anxieties relating to their special educational needs. For these pupils school can be a challenging place. We work with a number of different agencies to support pupils including Family Services and CAMHs and have various strategies in place to encourage attendance including individual timetables and activities.
